Jerky Movement on all arc's
« on: December 05, 2012, 02:58:15 PM »
When the router goes from a straight line into an arced line the gantry starts to shake and rattle. I've slowed down my feedrate, tried changing from CV to Exact Stop, changed the accel. from 10 to 20. Re-tuned my motors, all to no avail. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

It could be related to the CAD / CAM software you are using to create the GCode. Not all software creates arcs - some just produce a series of straight lines and this could explain the jerky motion you are seeing.
Check your GCode to see if it contains any 'J' codes or perhaps zip and attach an example of your GCode.
