THC UP() Button?
« on: November 29, 2012, 02:18:59 AM »
Hi,

Is it possible to assign buttons on the Home Screen to move Z up/Down while cutting?

I have OxyFuel Cutter. In P&P I have activated the [Allow THC up/Down while not in THC Mode]. Then I have Assigned hotkeys for THC UP/Down under Inputs to move keys with keyboard. All of that works perfectly...

I just can't seem to get the buttons on the main screen to work. Is it possible to have hotkeys and buttons for the same function?

easy to do. i have a happ 2 axis joystick that is used during oxy flame cutting. 1 microswitch to an input pin for up and another for down.   go to oem trigger and select the input for up and in the box enter the oemcide for thcup. next oem trigger for down enter the oemcode for thcdown.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. Just 2 things:
1. I Can't seem to find the OEM codes for THCup() and THCDown()... ?
2. I don't wan't to use an external switch for up & Down - but 2 buttons on the screen itself. I already have 2 buttons on the KB for that.

any ideas?

I Use MachScreen V1.52. When I insert OEM 28 (or 27) I get different functions...
On MachScreen:
27OEM Code = Screen Select #27
27Std Code = Ref C

28OEM Code = Screen Select #28
28Std Code = Joystick Toggle

...What other codes could it be? Are you using something else where THCUP = 27 & THCDown = 28?

That I am aware of there are no button codes for THCup() or THCdown(). They were never meant to be an outside processes.  The only reason you can do a Keyboard hotkey is through emulation of the input.
