Hi Tweakie,

I tried the program and I could not get it generate code. It opened a text document and it was empty. No code. I am at a lost. Anymore advice?

I have no idea what you drill pattern looks like but see if this is it.

I tried it and it works. Z axis needs minor adjustment, but work well. How did you do it?

I used a program called SheetCam to bring in the file as an excellon drill file then converted it  to Gcode. Les has it setup to be able to tune the process to account for different things.

The only thing complicated is getting the Number format right when you import the file into SheetCam. The picture shows all the settings I used.

When importing you use the excellon option.

Then Scam does ALL the work and you will see the toolpathing in Scam and all the tools are set up AND all the operations are done for you. ALL you have left to do is post the program to Gcode. You must select the proper post for your machine . In this case it is the MACH3 post.
