Motor Encolsure
« on: October 22, 2012, 07:38:28 PM »
Ever since I seen the covers Dan made, I had wanted some. So I had a bit of extra time on my hands a few months ago, and got started on a set of three. They still need some components to make them complete. They might get done this year, or they may not. Heck, they may never get done. If I purchase that Seiki I have my eye on, these would be null and void real quick. That's not very likely though. 5K+ just to rig and move the dinosaur. I guess my home-made machine will have to do a bit longer. It's been a real workhorse for the past year, so I can't really complain.

Great details you made there Sam, with some great chamfering on all edges. Fine workmanship.
Pretty nice photo work too.

Hell, I just thought they were going to end up as paperweights!  :D
Looking forward to seeing the completed project.

Very well made, Sam! Shows you did a good work on your home made machine... now you have no excuses for starting up with a new one and not finishing the parts ;D

New machine? Maybe a laser etching machine in the future. I do think that would be a profitable investment. Gotta get a good reliable anodizing setup first though. To many "wants"  and not enough cash to go round. I think everybody here can relate to that.
