Ok dont have W7 on anything here so cant look to see if there are any options in it.
Ok so next question, is there still a power LED on the computer when screen is blank or is the computer totally shut off?

Just clicked on restart computer and the computer came on but nothing on screen.Had to turn off then on. When I do this the first time I receive a startup repair screen, it runs then click finish and the computer shuts off. When I start it up again it starts fine

Try posting this in the "Mach3 under Vista" area of the forum (it's right under this one).

I am not understanding the first bit but the second bit definitely sounds like the computer is crashing.
Might be worth a try on the vista part of the forum as Dave suggests but one thing is have a look at voltages and temps in BIOS and also when Mach is running have a look at memory and CPU usage.

I do have to agree with Hood above, as it just doesn't sound like Win 7 is happy about something, and that's why I suggested posting it over there as there are a lot of folks running with Windows 7 very happily without issue.
Hope this helps-

I am still unsure what is actually happening, you say you click on restart but surely if the screen is blank youc cant click on anything?
Yes you can put Mach on another computer if you wish.

Hood-
I'm thinking he means he's hitting the "reset" button on the PC itself.
