Getting LEDs to light up.
« on: October 13, 2012, 03:02:39 PM »
Maybe one of you guys can help me.
Im trying to get the LEDs besides the step selection buttons to light up. Ive already gotten the buttons to select the correct step but I cant figure out how to get the corresponding LED to light up.
Anyone know how to do this?

Helder

Dont think there is an OEM code for LEDs for them so you would need to use a Brain or the macropump to do it.
For example if you named the 0.0001 LED as User led 1111 and then had the Brain looking at the Step DRO then when it was at 0.0001 it would turn on the LED

Hmmm, not sure if I can use brains or Macropumps. Im using the Mach 3 version that came with the Tormach and It doesnt have the Brain editor button on the interface.

Ah ok, is it a Tormach screen you are using? If it is then maybe it should already have that function built in.

The original screen didnt have these LEDs. I was modifying the screens for a 1600 by 900 resolution and decided the buttons would be nice to have.

Ah ok so these are buttons at the side? If thats the case then you could make them VB buttons and just have some VB in them to turn on the LEDs. You would also need them to turn off the other LEDs at the same time so that only the one you wanted was on.
