how to reset defaults in mach3
« on: September 27, 2012, 06:15:31 PM »
Hello, I used to have a cnc router set up using 1/4 - 20 threaded rod and now I have a new machine with acme 10-2 threads and I would like to know is there a way to reset the defaults in mach3 so I wouldn't have to go through the whole system and try to remember what they were, so if I can reset the defaults I can set up the new machine without having to remove the software and re install it

  Thank you.

Just create a new profile, you do that from the Mach3 Loader shortcut on your desktop then choose create profile then tick the box that says use default.

Hello, Hood I was able to get a new profile loaded and found that I cannot have both of them the same? but anyway is there a certain way of doing a initial start up of the system? and I would like to know is there any other input I can use besides the probing input for my auto zeroing plate.

 Thank you

You can have the actual settings in the profile the same, you just need different names for the profiles.
Not really sure what you are asking regards startup.
Never used tool zero macros so dont really know  but I am sure someone will post with info.
