Arcs in Lazycam not working
« on: September 08, 2012, 05:33:18 PM »
I am still a new user to Lazycam and Mach 3 and this has been much harder than I originally thought!

I have drawn several things in Autocad- saved as a .dxf, imported into Lazycam then posted to a gcode and uploaded in Mach3.

When they run though, it stops when the gcode to the arcs that it should be cutting out and says that the arc doesn't match the starting arc.

Any ideas of how to fix this?

I wish there were more video tutorials on Lazycam!

Post the dxf file and also the gcode file and I will have have a look and then comment.

Are you aware that there is a manual for LazyCam? It's located in Members Docs.

Sorry it has taken so long to post this- the company that sold us the set up had to come and rebuild the computer and reinstall Mach 3 since they apparently didn't do it correctly the first time.  I thought that this would fix the issue- but when I went back today to do it- I am still having the same issue.  I tried looking in the manual- and didn't find exactly what I was doing wrong perhaps

I could not open your  dxf file...something is wrong with it.
Is the attached pic a correct profile of your part?
