I guess you can make it a lot cheaper.

I saw a post on here a while back where one of the members had made their own. I can't remember where it was. It looked nice.

That was me who posted a pic of the one I made. 

I made one and am using it quite often,  great for centering, edge finding, it worked so well that I took it to work and showed it to the real machinists in our plant machine shop.  They had to have one too, they thought it was great!  The have come up with other ideas for it use also, putting it in the tailstock and centering stock on the lathe, checking dimensions, runout,  their biggest use plans are when they go out in the plant with portable boring equipment the hope to use it to help them in hard to see places.

I am not sure how you link to another post but here is the url to it.  See post #19 for the one I made and a screen shot.   Super simple solution,  only one thing would make it better, if the user could adjust the cursor location on the video window, that would save you having to adjust the actual camera mechanically.
