Need help configuring mach3 with KG5050
« on: July 10, 2012, 09:19:17 PM »
I have a K2cnc KG505. Just upgraded from mach2 to mach3 and I need help configuring it to run my router correctly. Nothing really works other than I can move the x and y axis's in just one direction, and at a very sloooooow speed. I tried looking at the config screens on mach 2 and matching them up, but didn't have any luck.

Any suggestions, or point me in the right direction here to find help? Thanks.

Chuck

Hi Chuck, welcome to MACHland.
There is a Mach3 Mill Install/Config pdf that does a GREAT job explaining the basics and is sure to get you going in the right direction.
Go through it step by step. If you hit any snags, just post back and someone will be certain to help.
The manual is quite good.
