question about "Mach3 Addons for Mill"

I'm considering to purchase "Mach3 Addons for Mill" now, but is this work correctly?
Choose "mm" as unit, select "Cut Rectangle", enter dimensions, and 2 as Depth and 0.5 as Step Depth, and do preview. Is the result correct?

Looks a lot less than 0.5 per pass, if you put a screenshot of your settings I will have a look.

OK, I have two screen shots.
Its depth step looks too small than the value I set.
Also, there is a strange curve in the bottom, this will break the end mill certainly.

With your settings I get something very different and it looks correct so not sure why you are getting the small steps. What tool dia have you chose?
Regarding the curve at the bottom, you need to choose Groove if you dont want that.

Your code is producing a very shallow ramp as an entry as selected (instead of PLUNGE) but there is no setting DRO for the angle. ? ? ?
Not sure if the angle is adjustable in the button script or not as I have no license and cannot access it.
You might get closer to the results that you are expecting if you select PLUNGE instead of RAMP.

Hit POST CODE, then VERIFY TOOLPATH and it will show correctly.
Just hitting PREVIEW does not show correctly with either PLUNGE or RAMP selected.
Might be a lic. issue, or maybe just the way it is.

The ramp will depend on the DOC set I think, the first pass round will progressively get down to that depth, the second pass will go to next depth etc etc and the final pass will be at full depth.
This screenshot is with the OPs selections but as I dont know what the tool dia is it wont be exactly the same.
As can be seen however the DOC looks fine.

Russ that pic I attached is with the licence disabled and I can see the difference between Plunge and ramp by simply pressing the preview.

The curve at the bottom appears to be the lead out.
Lead in at the top.
Both previews are bad here, POST/Verify is OK

Yes that is the lead in/outs, if you want them both to be above the surface you need to choose Groove.
