trouble with pulse rate to 2nd axis
« on: June 05, 2012, 06:51:28 AM »
I am one of the ebay system buyers,4 axis 1600 oz/in cnc kits. I have everything wired, only x and y on machine so far. This is a dm860a driver,60 volt power supply,x220806 bob,1600 oz/in nema 34 motors. I have a .200 pitch 5 tpi ballscrew with 20 tooth timing pulley on motor and 40 tooth on lead screw i can run at 2000 steps and get good feed and torque but when I calculate my trave I am 1/10 my needed steps,The driver has no dip for 20,000 steps but has 25,000.when I set x or y to 20,000 it works as long as I keep the Y set at 2000 but the y is very slow. If I set both to 20,000 steps both move slow no matter what settings I use for accel ect... I did my system check up tp 100,000 and it said excellent but still no good. I have licensed mach3. I Know there is not alot of info on this but any help would be greatly appreciated as the wife is about to kill me if this doesn't work. Thanks
