feed rate button on program run screen
« on: May 13, 2012, 08:11:16 PM »
Sometimes I would like to be able to speed up or slow down my feed speed when using my router.  I assume that the Feed Rate button should allow me to do that, but it doesnt.  What do I need to do to activate this feature?  Thanks

IF you have the standard screenset then in the Feedrate control block there are 2 arrows one pointed down with a - in it and the other is pointed up and has a + in it.

Click on either and the FRO will increase/decrease  by 10%   for each press of the arrow.

Think the standard screens now use a slider for FRO, you would just click and hold the left mouse on the green part of the slider and move the mouse up or down.

when I click on the arrows, the screen indicates that the speed is changing but in reality it does not change.

On general config page do you have No FRO on Queue ticked, if so untick. Other thing is you may be calling out a M49 in your code and that will disable FRO.

Thanks Hood.  The No FRO was ticked.
