Hello

In page 4 of Pulse Engine Documentation 6/4/2012 said that I connect this pins to 3V3.

¿ Where I found 3V3 in board ?

¿ Can I use another 5V external power supply for make this connection ?

¿ Where I found Ground connector for equiparate grounders ?

I don't like idea that connect pull up resistors to 3V3 USB Power Supply.

I would like use external fuse protected 5V Power supply. Is posible ?

Thanks.

3.3V and GND points are clearly marked on PCB (3.3V is located on the pin header above the pin 1, while there are multiple GND points). You can use the external 5V power supply if you connect the ground of the power supply to the GND of the PoKeys device.
The device already features built-in pull-up resistors, but on some pins, these are too weak to drive some of the stepper drivers. There is no problem in connecting pull-up resistors to 3.3V. The power supply is capable of handling the increased current demand (7mA per one pull-up resistor).

Thanks a lot for information.
I will connect this pins to 5V external  power supply with a negative common with USB Pokeys. My external hardware works only at 5V levels.
Thanks.

You can still use the on-board 5V for wiring pull-up resistors.

ok.

I connect only pull up resistors to 5V power supply of Pokeys.

I prefer use other power supply for connect all wires.

Pokeys I only have one unit and if I break this unit.... :(
