Vectric and Mach
« on: March 09, 2012, 08:23:44 PM »
Hello,

I seem to be having a problem with my radii. I create in adobe illustrator and then send the file to Vectric 2D. When I do this this the radii come out in a more straightline, geometric shape.
I am using only three nodes to make this arc, should not the vetric or mach pick up this radius?  Maybe better said is this "The conversion from Vetric to mach3 is different. The curves have faceted edges where the vector lines do not.  In mach, is there a way to smooth curves? "

Many thanks,
Farmerjeff

There is no "conversion" from Vectric to Mach3. Mach3 runs the g-code that Vectric creates, just the way it is.

Does the file look the same in Cut2D as it does in Illustrator?
