Mach 4
« on: February 18, 2012, 11:20:24 AM »
I keep seeing the posts for Mach 4. I am becoming confused as to what is actually planned. Will the license I presently have work for mach4? If no, will a mach3 license holder receive an upgrade discount or will they have to purchase brand new? Thanks for any info

I dont think things are set in stone yet but seems like Mach4 will  need a new licence. As far as I understand people with current Mach3 licences will get a discount.

Is there any timeframe as yet to when this will happen or be anounced?

It's impossible to set a timeframe, as it's being rewritten from the ground up. My guess would be at least 6 months, maybe a year??

I understand there are plans to release a taster version within the next month, this wont control motors but rather let people see how things have changed and what will be possible.
