Vista spindle tach as spindle index sensor?
«

The VistaCNC iMach USB spindle tach feeds a user DRO on the screen. Is there a way to use the input as a spindle index for lathe threading?
Thanks,
Randy

I wouldnt think so as index for timing needs precise control and coming in on USB via a plugin will have delays I would imagine.

That makes sense, Hood. I'll figure out how to pull the pulse from my Tachulator (up to now standalone) and get it into the parallel port.
Thank you,
Randy
