Lathe and Mill on one computer
«

Hi, I have a licensed copy of Mach3 which I set up a while ago to run my lathe. Now I'm bringing up a mill using the same computer, can I use the same license? Obviously I don't run the two at the same time!
Thanks,
John.

Yes unless you are making money from the parts you make on the machines. For someone doing this purely as a hobby you can have as many machines and computers with Mach as you like using the one licence. If you make any money at all from your machines then it is
asked
that you buy a licence for each.

Thanks Hood. Practically, if the licence file is placed in the Mach3 folder will both Turn and Mill pick it up please?

Yes, mill, turn, plasma all work from the same licence, even older revisions of Mach such as Mach2 can be used, why anyone would want to however I dont know
