Start a program from an external switch
« on: February 06, 2012, 01:06:49 PM »
I need to start a program from an exernal switch.  Sorry if this is old stuff.  Do I need keyboard emulator, or ???
I am working on a comercial tying machine using Mach3 software, it works quite well.
Thanks

Hey Jack, that will be easy enough if you have an input pin you can hook a switch too.  Look in config, ports and pins, inputs.  Assign the input you land your switch on to an OEM trigger.  Go to config, system hotkeys and assign the oem Trigger the oem number of cycle start which is OEM Code 1000.

My guard dog is not what you need to worry about!
