Two different machines
« on: December 18, 2011, 10:41:52 PM »
I have two machines and both have identical electronics, steppers and leadscrews yet I have to set the steps per inch twice as much on one machine than the other.. Am I missing something simple??

Thanks in advance.. Don

They are both set the same. This is the data sheet. I didn't know how to attach a PDF..

These drives seem to be fixed at 1/8th stepping so if thats the case then the only other thing that I can think of  is you have 0.9 degree steppers on one rather than the normal 1.8 degree, but as you said they were identical that cant be the case.
