Can't get basic motor output.

Help
I have the following configuration:

Pokey 55 with the latest firmware (v2.1.21).
CNC4PC motherboard  (with the enable pin directly wired to +5 volts)
M22 output board on port 3
  (Pokey pins 33, 28, 29, 30, 34, 22, 48, 49, 31, 32, 47, & 21)
M21 input board on port 1 with pin 1 connected to +5 Volts (The correlates to pin 5 on pokeys)
  (Pokey pins 5, 6, 7, 8, 12, 14, 17, 18, 19, 26, 27, & 20)
I have tried on a win 7 box and an XP box.

In pokeys, I can see the input fine, and set the output without issue (The pin numbers are really strange for some reason) but I can't get Mach 3 (Latest download) with the pokeys plug-in to see it.  I uninstalled and reinstalled mach 3 it with no luck.  I also install it with and without the printer port driver.  Still no luck.
All I'm trying to configure is X(port 10,pin 33 & 28) , Y(port 10,pin 29 & 30), and Z(port 10,pin 34 & 22) in motor outputs and in the input I've set EStop to port # 10 and pin 5.  The EStop works.

Is there something I need to configure in Output Signals?
Do I need the printer port driver installed?
I noticed that the Device load status only loads to 50%. Is this normal?

Thanks,
Chris

Chris,

I think you need a breakout board on parallel ports or on an external motion control device like a SmoothStepper. The PoKeys alone won't control your axes. Something like a CNC4PC breakout board, they have many to pick from with widely varying capabilities. That setup will then work with your PoKeys setup extra input/outpur, for buttons and switches and stuff.
