New Mach3 and CNC user

I bought a Syil America CNC machine and it came with the Mach3 Software. Its a small column mill about 425 lbs. The machine works great and the software is really easy to use. This is my first CNC unit and I feel like an idiot just sitting and staring at my new purchase. Being new to all this, is there some good places to get info on basics in setup, milling and tools? After working on some basic things I realized how many things I need to purchase to start doing projects. Any suggestions on where to get basic metal stock? I am slowly understanding what is involved and after duct taping my head back together, I would like to start on some type of project. Is there sample g-codes I can get online ? Any info would help, Thanks..

I am from the UK and I presume you are from the US so afraid I cant be much help on where to purchase tooling and stock etc. There is a links page for tooling, see here http://www.machsupport.com/forum/index.php?action=links;cat=16 also one for materials http://www.machsupport.com/forum/index.php?action=links;cat=15
For the sample Gcode there are some in the C:\Mach3\gcode   folder and you might also find some here http://www.machsupport.com/forum/index.php?board=33.0

Also look at the wizards, they will let you enter dimensions to do some simple shapes, pockets etc etc.

One stop shop, McMaster Carr. They will be a little more expensive than you may shop around and find but they have it all. They aren't ridiculously high by any means.Tooling, stock, etc. They are listed on the links page.
