Pro-face GP-2401 Modbus interface

Hello.
 I'm trying to control my Mach 3. with a device, pro-face modbus GP2401H HIM.
 someone has tried and succeeded.
 Modbus protocol used by RS232. in the wiki there is not much information.
 Can anyone help me?
