Finding the position of the tool tip
« on: September 04, 2011, 10:31:49 AM »
hello all

when on the manual screen is the position of the tool tip shown anywhere??

i see it is positioned according to the position shown by the DRO- but i dont see any relation to

the axis??

or maybe it is ther axis that i cant see??

but i dont know where the tool is?

so if I jog- i only see the dro changing and not where the tool is going

best regards fred evans

Cross hairs show up in the toolpath window but only when you have code loaded.

Additionaly you may want to check out some settings
go to  Config>Toolpath Configuration .....see if you have tool position checked. There are other settings available for what and how things are displayed.
