Can some one help me for below question:


Does Mach3 software support RTCP in all 5 axis?

There is no direct interface for "external to the system RTCP" but position data can be sent to external devices and control data can be received from external devices in as near "real time" as us humans would perceive. So I suppose the answer has to be Yes.

Oh and it's 6 axis.  ;)

If you are refering to Real TIme Control Protocol I beileve the answer is NO. You may be able to create a plugin to translate the protocol but then it would not be real time. Also Mach is not a realtime control system. It uses a buffer/que  system to ensure stability with windows.

When 5 axis motion is in question, I think he is asking five axis tool comp eg. "Rotation Tool Center Point"  ??
Answer is mach do not have this feature, but it do not mean mach can not handle 5 axis machining!
I use 5 axis toolpaths made so that tool lenght is handled by postprosessor. Post is more complex and also quite expensive but so is 5 axis CAM...
