Very big .set file. Any problem...?
« on: July 17, 2011, 07:35:11 AM »
I have made a very big .set file (1.5MB).
I can see that it needs more time to start Mach3 (~6sec instead of 1-2sec), but after that the functionality is good and quickly (as it was allways).

Have you worked in such big files?
Do you think there is going to be any problem on this?
Will Mach crash or give any watchdog timeout (or anything else)?
Should i fear of something or not?

Regards,
Giannis

I'm curious as to why the file is so large. My Aqua screen, which uses a LOT of bitmaps, and takes a long time to load, is only 37kb. My 2010 Screen .set file is only 34kb.

The standard screen is only 92kb.

1.5MB???
