Mach Screen Question.
« on: July 12, 2011, 08:26:48 AM »
I suppose I should know the answer to this but I don't.  :'(

What is the significance of the green rectangle surrounding the Cycle Start button and why does it sometimes flash on / off during the last few lines of a program ?

Thanks,

Tweakie.

It is meant to show that the Cycle Start is operative, ie the code is running and not in feedhold, I have never noticed it flashing on and off but it may be something to do with that I dont often watch that close of could possibly be G4's in your code. Actually not sure if a G4 does put it out but I would imagine it does.

Had a look at this as well with some of my code and it does not flash for me.

It's listed as OEM code 804 which is "Start LED"

Hi Dave,

Thanks for that.

I don't think it is supposed to flash but perhaps it is indicating that there is some sort of bad code or something.

It occurred to me that if I knew why it was flashing It would give me a clue as to what I am doing wrong.

When running it seems to go off whilst it's in a macro.
