Having issues homing maxnc15cl2 with mach 3. Thanks to the help I've received, I've finally gotten the machine to move. I'm running mach 3 demo version on XP. I was told to install an xml file made for maxnc and it worked. I opened a small sample g code file that came with the original maxnc software. The machine moved a little and the spindle turned on and stayed on until it ran thru the gcode file. I tried to home it in mach3 but am doing something wrong. Also there is the issue of two of the axis not moving, just the one and the spindle powering on. In mach 3 the part is shown in the display in the upper right on the screen and I can see it running through the gcode lines and the corresponding display of the part is moving as well but machine is not.

Hi Hood, file is attached. It is my understanding it is only for 3 axis and does not include code for the 4th.

Looks fine but will have to wait until I can try on a computer with a parallel port so I can scope it.
