Yes thats correct, set Step and Dir pulses to 5 and see.

eureka moment has been put on hold, on the finish path it started digging down into the stock piece and tapered its way down, when i homed it in its of by about an inch Ill try to slow it down a bit,that last path was at about 50 ft/min
man i dont know whats going on.

Ok try Sherline mode, it makes the pulse even wider but can only be used in 25KHz mode as the pulse is 40uS wide
