Xbox 360 Plugin Problems
« on: January 08, 2011, 12:45:46 PM »
Having some problems with the xbox 360 plugin.

I installed all of the software put the file in the plugins folder.

Running xp
pluged in the wired microsoft xbox360 controller
it saw the controller and I got the one green light on the controller.

In Mach3 I went to plugins and could not find an option for xbox 360 listed only joystick.

Enabled it and the controller worked but I can only control x and y with the left thumb pad nothing else works.

What am I missing?

Thanks,

Brian

I needed to restart the PC a couple of times to get it to show up on the control panel.  Also,  i went the Microsoft website to get the latest DirectX. But I would think that the plugin would not work properly till Mach3 sees it.

I disabled the any plugins that I am not using.  i.e. joystick.

But I have to say that the xbox controller is a VERY nice set up.  I noticed that some of the buttons are analog so the further you press the faster the movement.
