What do you use to get videos shrunk to something reasonable and in a easy flash form like brian't "got my machine running" /!?

That took me some experimentation.
Download this fully working 15 day trial http://www.swishzone.com/index.php?area=products&product=video
Upload the video as an attachment, then get its url. Then use the flash tags to display the url.

From memory it wasn't the sort of task I wanted to do too often.

EDIT: There is two methods, one where the whole video must download b4 it starts to play, or the streaming method where it buffers a bit and then starts playing. Its all in the html code that decides, however  I cant remember the streaming html code.

Ok i will give it a shot. I Have been thinking about setting up a google video or you tube account and just doing an in line link. That would save the forums a lot of bandwith..

Thanks

Yes I have streamed from google in the past for just that reason. It is possible to view the google source page and copy the video link into this forum. I am not sure if they have tightened this up of recent though.
