Debounce Interval should have no effect when using the SmoothStepper, that is handled by the filtering in the SS plugin itself.
Why it affected you I dont know, only thing I can think of is you used an old xml that you had previously been using with the parallel port and somehow the settings stuck.

Hood, I don't know why it's working now, but I ain't gonna mess with it!!
This is my first use of both Mach and the SmoothStepper. From the beginning I have not used the parallel port for anything.

Now, I've got to get the spindle squared away and get to makin' chips.

Thanx for your input, it is appreciated!!

Important thing for the spindle is to have your max revs set correctly in the Spindle Pulleys page. Took me a long time to find out why I needed to set weird numbers for the spindle steps per unit :D

You have a DM2400? I havent seen you on the Dyna page or Yahoo group. How long ago did you convert it over to Mach? Did you do it or someone else? Do you have any of the original parts? Sorry to be so nosy but parts and information are hard to come by. Any help would be great. John
