macro and brain same output
« on: September 14, 2010, 01:47:47 PM »
Hi,,
Im a little bit stuck with the following problem: have a button via brains to open tool clamp (f.e. output 1),
My tool change macro is activating the same output, so we have a conflict because brain is trying to turn the output to 0 if button is not enabled,,

How can I (for manually open the tool clamp) activate the same output via activatesignal in macro and brain,,
Thanks,,

Forgot this,,

For now I just took 2 different outputs and via diodes to same optocoupler wich drives the relays / valves,, but out of curiosity and also like to use more the brains (for the very little processor time they use etc..)
Thanks,,

eldeep,

Pick VB or Brians, one or the other to control the output. If you want to use them both at the same time, i.e. VB in the macropump, and brains, then put in some interlock safties using ULEDs or UDROs.
