7X14 MINI LATHE - CNC CONVERSION
« on: June 26, 2010, 11:11:35 AM »
This thread will be about the conversion to cnc for a mini lathe. Don't know how long it will take or when the conversion will be completed.
We are just getting started, so who knows.  ???

Thank you for starting this topic. I am just starting to convert  a new small lathe 10" X 28" to CNC control. I am going to use Mach 3 to control it.
I am hoping to install a variable speed drive and screw cutting features to it as well. if I can get this to work I am going to make up a multiple toll holder of around 6 or 8 tools to replace the tool holder the late has now.
Keep in touch and have fun
