Are these motor numbers right?

I used the measured travel method of tuning my motors. I am using the Xylotex 269s with a 25k kernal speed.

The program came up with the following:

X = 15984.63836
Y = 15924.7109
Z = 15948.06245

They are the same motors on all three axis and the same thread screws. I am thinking the difference is due to measuremant error on my part.

Should these all be 16000?
Should I make them 16000?

How does the kernal speed affect these motor's performance? On the driver test I am clean through 75 khz. Would upping the kernal speed from 25k do anything helpful?

Not all screws are exactly the same ie: could have pitch differences over some travel.
I have also found that not all steppers are created equaly also. Belt tension can also influence things.

Measure the traveled distance accurately, and make sure you have removed any backlash before doing the move you will measure.
Nothing wrong with having different values although should be darn close to a calculated value.

Calculate your steps per unit rather than measuring and see if that helps, as you suspect, with the auto calc routine, it will only ever be as accurate as you can measure.

Increasing the kernel to more than you actually need will be unlikely to help and may actually hinder as it will use up resources.
