this lad is selling Art's manual for £3 when as we know it's available here for free ... who to contact? I've notified ebay already.

Wel first you need to contact MACH to see IF the manaul is copyrighted and protected OR is public domain.

THe price charged COULD Be the cost of the copying NOT the manual(;-)

I think you guys may be jumping to the wrong conclusion.

Supposing God forbid, Hood wrote his own manual on how to set up Mach3

He "Hood" would be within his rights if it was in written Hoods own words and ideas.

Whether we could afford it is another matter.

Don't tell him, he might get ideas. ;D

The manuals currently available for download, "Mach3Mill Install and Config Guide", "Using Mach3Mill" and "Using Mach3Turn" all include a copyright notice. That said, chunks of (at least) "Using Mach3Mill" are identical to sections in the NIST RS274 document - Hmmmm.

 Google is your friend but maybe have to add Scots to the search as there will be  a lot of hits for havering in England, not that thats a surprise ;D
