circular interpolation
« on: April 10, 2010, 05:29:45 AM »
can anyone confirm that mach 3 will recognise the K variable in a G02 or G03 command when machining curves that run on XZ or YZ plane? Also when used in conjuction with G18 G19

the controller on my machine unfortunately will not, so i am considering converting to mach 3!

many thanks

pmessilver,
You may want to have a look at Mach3 Turn Arc Motion writeup which can be found in  MEMBERS DOCS.
It covers a lot of info and gives explaination / comparison of using G02/G03 for G18. There are files which you can try out and  play with.

FWIW,
