XP vs 2000
« on: October 05, 2006, 06:08:32 PM »
Has anyone seen a difference in running Mach 3 on Windows XP vs Windows 2000? I had 1.xx on Windows XP, and have just put 2.0 on Windows 2000 and a faster computer. The motor tuning is completly different and so this is why I ask if there is or should be a difference on the 2.

XP tune was  2000 steps,  13.002 vel and  3 accel
2000 tune Not correct yet is 2000 steps, 183 vel and 50 accel.

The mill is the same, but the software is different.

Thanks,
Dan

Run the Driver test o nthe computer that had to run slower and I think you will see that there are little spikes on the graph... This will messup the pulse timing...
