Hi All
I am wiring in the VFD to Mach and I have a question that is perplexing me. I want to make sure I wire in an alarm from the VFD that will shutdown the system if one occurs. Any suggestions.

Wire it in series with your E-Stop button input to Mach, if its a higher voltage than 5v or if its a normally off signal then use a relay with NC contacts.

The way i did mine is the VFD has a relay built in that is closed when the VFD is operating correctly
So i run my enable through that relay, so in the event of VFD shutdown i get an Estop
