My rapids are leaving toolpath marks.

When I pocket in Mastercam, can I set up the rapids to have the Z come up a few thousandths and then back down when rapiding? I'm getting nasty toolpath marks that I'll have to sand out of my pockets.

In the "feed plane" box, set it to whatever height you desire.

You can leave material on walls and floor so you can take a finish pass in the Z direction and on the walls.

Depending on the material being cut, .020 is a good start.

The finins will be much better.
