S word?
« on: November 21, 2009, 06:43:13 PM »
I drew a piece in BobCad got the toolpath, loaded it into Mach and it wont run due to no S word on line #etc. It is a turning specific nc code I think. I am tired of the wizards, it is time for more. Help
I want to die in my sleep like my grandfather, not like the passengers in the car! :-)

sounds like you are calling a spindle speed with no speed
What is the line in the code saying, either that or attach your code.

Thanks Hood as always. It was my first foray into turn. I fudged it and it worked fine. Well at least just like the drawing. The drawing sucked but it cut it correctly. It was a practice piece.
