Mach3 graphics problem on a laptop
« on: September 10, 2006, 08:44:36 AM »
I've downloaded Mach3 and was planning on buying a license. But when I tried it out I got a weird problem on my laptop.

When I first start the program everything looks ok. When I switch between the different views the problem appears. When I come back to the first view I get a major graphics problem.

At first everything is drawn nicely but when the screen has been drawn it quickly changes and all the buttons, text and stuff like that disappears. When I move the mouse over the non-existing buttons they re-appear, this does not happen with the text. It also looks as if the background graphics have been scaled or is out of place. It's drawn outside of the program window.

My setup is a laptop with Radeon mobility 9700 graphics, 1GB RAM, Windows XP SP2.

The program works perfectly on my regular computer.

I've included this picture:

Try updating the video driver.

Hi:

One other thing, use desktop properties/settings/advanced/troubleshooting and turn down the hard acceleration by 3 ticks.. It may help..
