Lazycam Overlapping dxf,s

Hi guys , Im having a problem with opening a dxf in lazycam. the dxf looks fine in other cad programs but when trying to open it in lazycam it seems to take forever, then when it finally opens everything is overlapped, I have attched the dxf im trying to open & convert to gcode, thanks guys

The overlapping is probably because they are blocks. The long time is probably because the arcs are made up of lots of small jagged short line segments. I cleaned up the borders and exploded the blocks. This should work better.

Thankyou so much, is there a tutorial anwhere of what you just did to the file as i need to add so many more of those anunciators to the dxf , Thanks again for your quick reply..

Just like Gerry said,don't use blocks and also will note that all the curved parts of the text are line segments and that is dosen't lend itself to nice cutting. Best you could do is just replace those line segments with a simple arc. Text is just a PITA for a lot of reasons.
Don't know what CAD program you are using. On my end I just use Autocad or Microstation and nothing else.

What CAD program are you using?
 Basically, I just exploded the blocks to get to the entities. Deleted all the line segments in the corners and used the fillet command to put smooth arcs in the corners.

Ideally, you'd do the same thing to the text, as Rich said. And I used AutoCAD, btw.
