Brian,

Did you get a chance to look at the code? I hope I didn't crash the system. Is there a way to pull it from the forum if it has a problem? I've been a professional software guy for over 30 years, but have not programmed in VB before. If I screwed something up - let me know so I don't do it again. The code seems very straight forward to me.

No hurry. It's working on my system just fine. It's more of a curiosity at this point. If you get a chance - that'd be great. If not tonight - no big deal.

Hi Brian,

Screen working OK, also "shift key" screen works as well, I made a mistake not putting the new screen number in the mach3 directory.

Thanks
Sorry for causing concern.

No problem. I'm glad the pendant is working for you. I'm designing an MPG now to replace the keyboard, which will make this whole thing a moot issue for me. I'm using some inexpensive encoders. Let me know if you want to be kept informed on this.  I expect the whole thing will cost about $40. That's a whole lot cheaper than the devices out there today.
