PCB drill and milling machine"BUNGARD CCD"
« on: October 08, 2009, 07:31:40 AM »
Hello all,

I am an CNC Hobbyist and this is my first posting in this forum.
Some time ago I had luck to get an old x/y Table with steppers
and controller. I made a breakout-board with some optocouplers,
connected it to the LPT Port and tried out some software.
Meanwhile I work with Mach3 and now my question:
I can get a used german PCB Router from BUNGARD. It's called CCD. They have
a serial connection from PC to the controller. The stepperboard has an
AVR Micro controller to receive commands from the Bungard
drillpro or routepro - software and  control the steppers. Does anyone
know a possibility to control this machine by mach3?

Can it be that the german mach3 forum is not frequented? I found the last post from march this year.

Greetings
Stefan

Yes, i have done it. Replaced the serial board, installed a paralell optoisolated card and some few components. It works beautifully with Mach3
