A Gcode Command To Control Plunge?
«
on:

Is there a G, M or any letter code that independently controls a mill’s Z plunge rate? For many years, we have been using Servo Products mills and the plunge rate was controlled by the “E” word. Is there an equivalent for Mach3?
Thanks

'F' is used to control the down feed, if you are talking about a 2 or 3 axis simultaneous move where the z is at a different feed rate to the x and or y axis then it can not be done.
