If I understand you right, I do not have an LPT port, just a COM port.  My computer DOES have a LPT connector though in addition to the COM connector.  It may appear I have one but it may not be connected to the motherboard or the MB does not recognize it.  I'm going to check it out to see if it IS CONNECTED.

Where on the computer is the LPT connector? If its down low where the PCI cards normally go then you may need to enable it in the BIOS.

I checked the connector and it IS CONNECTED to the motherboard.  Next to the connection to the MB it says LPT1.  My device Manager does not recognize it though since it says COM 1 and does not reference the LPT1 connection.  I am going to go into my BIOS to see if I can set it up to recognize the LPT 1 connector.

HOOD & JEFF,  You guys are GREAT!!!!
I found the LPT port was turned off in the BIOS and after I turned it back on and reset my address to 378, the CNC Machine Jogged and I uploaded the Road runner and it worked GREAT.  I can never thank you guys enough this thing has had me bugged for the last three days.  I'll catch a trout for each of you.

THANKS, THANKS, THANKS    Jim Hart

LOL, well if only I had been awake or TP had come in sooner then you could have had time to catch the trout by now.
