How to bring Slave ax to move slowly than Master ax
« on: June 12, 2009, 06:07:45 PM »
Hello folk!
Friends in the "General discussion" advise me to ask here!
Problem is next - The Master axis (X) longer than Slave axis (A).

Along the full length of master axis, the torch must be over trough suction gas.
Of course at the begin of distance the torch will over front edge of trough suction gas (see the picture), at the end of Master ax torch will over rear edge of trough suction gas.
From here, for to locate torch always over trough suction gas, Slave ax must be slowly than Master ax. If switch on A ax as Slave, the A ax move so fast as master ax. The quantity pulses per unit  don't affect. Slave ax use pulse/unit as Muster ax.

jimpinder - think that it able to solve use the Brain.
If anybody know how to bring to move Slave ax synchronous but slowly, please help.
TIA Inna.

you will have to set up the A axis as an independant axis and write to it seperatly.

With slaving, they only way you could move the A differently is to "Lie" to it and adjust its real motion by mechanics.
