I have a limit switch that is randomly triggering, is there a file that will tell me which input has been triggered.
As I think it is the same switch but cannot be shore

if your limit switches are each wired separately to an input pin then yes Mach screen Diagnostics will tell you but if your limit switches are all serial or parallel connected to one input pin then the answer is no.

If they are just momentarily triggering then you would need to write a macropump to watch all the limit LEDs and when seen turn on another LED so that you can look and see which one has tripped. A brain would be faster but unfortunately the latching in the Brain doesnt seem to be working correctly.
Obviously you could only do this if they are, as Tweakie has said, wired to individual inputs.

Yes there are wire to individual inputs an are only triggering momentarily
that you for the for the suggestion will try to write a macropump to find wich input (limit) switch is being triggered

ONE problem to note MACH is much FASTER than the macro pump in seeing the limits trip. It is possible for MACH to see the trip before the led or macropump can reacte.

IF you are having random switch activity the only real way to find it is work through and bypass each switch until the problem goes away. It could also be noise causing it. ALSO harmonic vibration can do it as well, THe BP Z upper limit switch is notorious for this one when cutting.

Just a thought, (;-) TP
