Just finished this a few days ago, shaft and nut, rudder flanges, pintle and bush, tiller arm and lots of other stuff was made on my Mill and Lathe, all 316 stainless.

Ha ha not such a thing, if you go for a trip on these boats you have to work, did that for too many years so now I repair and build the occasional one.

In the first pic its the wall round my yard, the road that was flooded is just the other side of that and then the seawall, so about 20ft between that wall and the sea Wall
